Did you know that beer labeled "gluten-free" may still contain 20mg gluten per kg, i.e. per liter, according to EU food law?!

GLUTEN LEVEL – The 10mg limit

10 milligrams of gluten per day is generally considered by many experts to be a "safe amount" for the majority of people with celiac disease. There are still different opinions as to how much gluten can be classified as safe for people with gluten intolerance, as each person affected has different sensitivities. We have tabulated the gluten content of foods for you and show which small amount of gluten-containing foods already contain the 10mg of gluten.
