More freedom when eating
Dr. Marc Schneider holds a Ph.D. in food chemistry and is the CEO of ineo Pharma GmbH. His mission is to communicate scientific findings in an accessible way and to help people with food intolerances lead safer, more carefree lives with a higher quality of life. He aims to use his expertise to help those affected make informed decisions about their health.
GluteoStop® was developed by Ineo Pharma GmbH for anyone who follows a gluten-free diet but doesn’t want to constantly have to go without or worry. Driven by the desire to make a low-gluten lifestyle less complicated, a handy companion for everyday life has been created—for use at home, in restaurants, while traveling, and anywhere else where hidden gluten might lurk.
Our History
Raising awareness is important to us—partly because we have family members on our team who have celiac disease and gluten sensitivity. The idea came about in 2015 during a trade show visit in the U.S. Since the raw material wasn’t yet approved in Germany, we saw an opportunity to improve the quality of life for people with gluten intolerance.
This was followed by an in-depth exploration of the topic and initial trials—product development took time. By mid-2017, the regulatory requirements in the EU were in place, and in mid-2018, GluteoStop® went on sale for the first time in Switzerland and Germany. Since then, many EU and non-EU countries have been added—and we remain committed to ensuring that our product supports gluten-free diets worldwide for the long term.
