GluteoStop® is a dietary supplement that helps break down gluten and thus functionally supports a gluten-free diet.
GluteoStop® contains a special enzyme that can break down gluten. In this way, gluten can be almost completely broken down. GluteoStop® is therefore ideal for anyone who eats gluten-free and wants to avoid consuming hidden gluten or traces of gluten. Studies show that even with a supposedly gluten-free diet, unintentional gluten intake can amount to 150 mg to 400 mg per day.
HOW DOES GLUTEOSTOP® WORK?
Immediately after ingestion, GluteoStop® efficiently and quickly breaks down gluten into small fragments directly in the stomach.
GluteoStop® contains a special, patented enzyme - prolyl oligopeptidase (AN-PEP) - which can efficiently break down the amino acid chains (peptides) in gluten into harmless fragments. In this way, gluten can be easily broken down.
The enzyme used in GluteoStop® is the first protease enzyme that has been effective in clinical human studies.
Comparative studies with other products on the market showed that our enzyme digests gluten significantly more efficiently and can break down gluten almost completely after a short time.

Eating out
If you are unsure whether food consumed away from home contains traces of gluten, use GluteoStop® as a precautionary measure.
When invited, discuss your specific dietary requirements and ask to be informed if offered dishes (e.g., side dishes or soup garnishes) contain gluten, especially when it is not obvious. The same applies to restaurant visits, holidays, and eating in the canteen.
Gluten-containing excipients
In the food industry, gluten-containing additives are frequently added to many foods for technological reasons or to improve taste and/or consistency. For example, the following products often contain gluten: ready meals, ready-made sauces, ready-made soups, canned foods, frozen foods, instant mashed potato mixes, confectionery (e.g., snacks, biscuits, muesli bars, etc.), bread, pastries, and cakes.
Unpackaged food
When purchasing unpackaged foods, such as bread, pastries, and fish products, ask if the product was made using wheat or other cereal products.
Gluten-free
Be aware: If a product is labeled "gluten-free", it does not mean that it is completely gluten-free. For example, for oats labeled "gluten-free", it merely means that the gluten content of these products must not exceed 2 mg/100 g.
Labeling
It is important for all people with gluten sensitivity to carefully read the ingredient list when shopping at the supermarket, as gluten "hides" behind many terms. Products with the following ingredients should NOT be consumed if you have gluten sensitivity:
- Gluten
- Wheat / Wheat starch
- Barley / Barley malt / Barley malt extract
- Rye
- Oats
- Spelt
- Green core spelt
- Einkorn
- Kamut
- Bulgur
- Emmer
- Triticale
- Wheat protein
- Wheat gluten
- Seitan
All other products are "gluten-free" – meaning they may contain a maximum gluten content of 2 mg per 100 g of food.
Features
Read the list of ingredients carefully, as wheat can also be hidden in an ingredient, for example in durum wheat semolina.
However, the following are gluten-free:
- Wheat-based glucose including dextrose
- Wheat-based maltodextrins
- Barley-based glucose syrup or wheat-based glucose syrup; cereals used as a starting material for distillates for spirits.
Note: All ingredients ending in "-ose" are gluten-free, as starch sugar cannot contain gluten.
- Allergens must not be hidden behind E-numbers. If a food contains gluten-containing substances (E-numbers), these must be labeled.
- The phrase "May contain traces of..." has no legal relevance. Nevertheless, caution is advised, as the manufacturer does not guarantee gluten-free status here. Thus, gluten may be present up to an amount of 20 mg/kg food.
