Cafes
№58 Speiserei – gluten-free and vegan
This wonderfully cozy café on a small side street in the heart of Neukölln offers something for every occasion and taste. Great importance is placed on regional, seasonal organic products and a wide selection of homemade cakes. Most dishes are gluten-free and can also be ordered as a vegan option. The menu is manageable but absolutely convincing, offering many possibilities for enjoyment, from breakfast to lunch and a pleasant coffee klatch.

Funk You – Natural Food
First, the extraordinary location must be mentioned here – while enjoying your superfood, you look directly into the monkey enclosure of the Berlin Zoo. Besides the view of the monkeys, the view of the menu and your freshly prepared dishes is also a highlight. All dishes are intended to be as "natural" and healthy as possible, and most are also sugar-, soy-, and especially gluten-free.
The concept is a hit, as there is another store at Rosenthaler Str. 23 in Berlin-Mitte, which is also highly recommended.

Simply Keto – ketogenic diet
What does ketogenic have to do with gluten-free? A lot! In the ketogenic diet, the body is given very few carbohydrates, and certainly none from grains. In addition, most foods are processed very sparingly, so no hidden gluten can sneak in.
Simply Keto is therefore also included in this list, to expand your mental list with new possibilities. In this very lovingly furnished café, you can have breakfast, lunch, and enjoy a delicious sugar-free cake in the afternoon.

Restaurants
Restaurant Glutanada - All at one table
Glutanada's four principles are: "gluten-free, fresh, delicious, and healthy" – nothing more needs to be added. Furthermore, other intolerances are no problem, neither for the kitchen nor for the service staff.
Specialties include homemade crêpes, Spätzle, and a wide selection of savory and sweet baked goods. Children who need to eat gluten-free also get their money's worth with special children's menus at absolutely fair prices. In addition to the extensive daily menu, there are always great highlights such as "Döner or Burger days" and on weekends there is a super delicious breakfast buffet – all completely gluten-free!

Pizza at Cielo di Berlino – Pizza made from buckwheat
Here you can find an absolutely authentic Italian-tasting pizza made from buckwheat that leaves nothing to be desired. A vegan alternative can also be chosen for the topping. There are also regular pizzas, so there's something for everyone. Important for all coeliacs: All doughs are prepared separately and baked in different trays – to a beautiful evening with vino and gluten-free pizza!

Burgerie – Burgers from the lava stone grill
For all gluten-free burger fans, here's an absolute insider tip: Burgerie. The gluten-free buns come from "Jute Bäckerei," which I will introduce to you further down, and are absolutely comparable to their gluten-containing counterparts. The burger patties are also made from 100% organic beef and get their fine-tuning with homemade sauces and extraordinary ingredients between the buns.

Rosmarin – the One for All
At first glance, Rosmarin is a perfectly normal restaurant, BUT if you take a closer look at the menu, you'll see that all dishes can also be prepared gluten-free. The chefs and staff understand what it's all about, especially when guests suffer not just from a sensitivity, but from celiac disease.
The menu is very diverse and truly offers something for every taste. There is also a good selection of vegan dishes. During lunchtime, a reduced-price menu is also offered. A really great concept, also because all allergens are conscientiously listed on the menu.

Bakeries
Completely gluten-free: Die Jute Bäckerei
A dream for all bread lovers. Here you can find truly everything, except gluten! But that's not all, the bakery also strives to offer organic quality raw materials for all baked goods. The selection is overwhelming: from various wholemeal breads to muffins, brownies and pastries of all kinds, but my personal favorites are the many different rolls. Sooo delicious and much better than the packaged goods from the supermarkets. A brunch is also offered every Sunday, and the small café next door invites you to linger.

Eis Voh – more than ice cream
The name can be deceiving, because in addition to classic and unusual ice cream flavors, they also offer gluten-free baked goods. Behind the name is a bakery and confectionery that were pioneers in Berlin when it comes to gluten-free eating. The display usually contains a manageable number of cakes, tortes, and pastries – but these are high quality and mostly vegan. The breads and rolls are also recommendable; they have a great consistency and taste really delicious.

Suzette Berlin – best crêpes
This place is worth celebrating! All crêpes and galettes are 100% gluten-free and some are even made from organic flours. For all you "lunchers" out there, the lunch menu is definitely recommended; for only €8.50, you get a galette, omelette, or quiche with salad and a drink. If you're still hungry afterward, you can get a sweet crêpe for only €2.50 to finish. My personal favorite!
