Raute-3 Barista Sistar – indulge in vegan and gluten-free cakes

Barista Sistar - a concentrated force of organic, fair trade, and regionality. In this cozy coffee bar, you'll always find great gluten-free breakfast options, as well as a delicious selection of homemade vegan and gluten-free cakes – we especially love the banana bread. Most cakes are made with spelt flour. Ingredients like bananas or dates are used as sugar substitutes and offer a delightful way to indulge, especially for those with allergies or clean eaters. But beware, not all products offered here are exclusively gluten-free.

Also suitable for celiac disease (by arrangement)

Restaurants

Raute-4A Piece of Sicily

If there's one country's cuisine known for gluten-containing food, it's Italian. Pizza, pasta & Co – super delicious, but unfortunately often a "no-go" for people with gluten intolerance. If you still don't want to miss out on Tagliolini Limoncello & Pizza Capricciosa, you should go to Ristorante Limoncello. The trip to Obermenzing is worth it, because in this traditional restaurant, you can get all pizzas and pasta dishes as a gluten-free option for a small extra charge! However, you should still mention any intolerances here.

Gluten sensitivity customers welcome

Ristorante Limoncello | Verdistraße 92, 81247 Munich | Saturday and Sunday: 11:30–14:30 and 17:30–23:00

Raute-5Vegan and gluten-free at Emmi's Kitchen

In the heart of Glockenbach, Emmi's Kitchen offers a variety of vegan and gluten-free lunch dishes and cakes.

On the menu you will also find dishes such as potato goulash, hearty soups and Açaí Bowls.

If you want or need to eat gluten-free, you'll be spoiled for choice here. Even the burgers can be ordered with gluten-free buns for a small extra charge. The burgers are amazing!

Gluten sensitivity customers welcome

Raute-6 Bowls & Brownies: Everything gluten-free at Palmtree Club

At Palmtree Club on Augustenstraße, you don't have to worry about ingredients or contents; you can order anything your heart desires from the menu – whether it's warm waffles, colorfully topped bread (homemade!), fruity bowls, or warm meals with buckwheat, rice noodles, lots of vegetables, and various toppings. Miriam and Benni not only prepare the food themselves but also put their DIY skills to use in the interior design, bringing some Instagram-worthy Bali vibes to Maxvorstadt! Our tip: Bowls & Brownies - Everything gluten-free at Palmtree Club.

Raute-7

Attentat Griechischer Salat

You could argue a bit about Attentat Griechischer Salat: is it a proper restaurant or a bar that just happens to serve salads? Although "salads" isn't really the right word – because the "Bottomless Audacity" or "Dress Size 34" on the menu, with goat cheese, dates wrapped in bacon, and meat skewers, are more like a full meal. They also offer pasta and sweet desserts like chocolate cake or apple tart. An allergen menu is available upon request – a plus!

Raute-8

Aloha Poke -

The idea for the restaurant couldn't be more authentic. After a few months of parental leave in Hawaii, owner Tom brought the idea for Aloha Poke directly from the home of the Poke Bowl. Family photos and Polaroids on the wall are a reminder of his time in Hawaii – probably no one suspected then that Aloha Poke would open almost two years later and charm its guests.

At the counter, everyone can customize their favorite bowl according to taste. As a topping – to avoid possible cross-contamination, e.g., with the fried onions, you can get them from sealed jars instead of the display. We think it's great that the issue of intolerances is taken so seriously here. You feel very well taken care of.

Also suitable for celiac disease

Raute-9Intolerante Isi!

In addition to her well-known small food truck, Isi also offers catering and cooking classes. Isabella founded her company out of her own necessity – after a period of discomfort, she was diagnosed with lactose intolerance. So she hung up her former job at an advertising agency and traded it for this exciting project. We think that's great! On her homepage, you can check the calendar to find out where and when to find her truck.

The menu includes sweet potato mash with falafel or organic beef and buckwheat waffles with various toppings. Only gluten-free ingredients are used in her popular waffles! Otherwise, in Isi's catering business, gluten-containing foods are, if at all, only prepared in a separate room with different utensils – which immediately gives you the reassurance that you can eat here carefree and without worries to your heart's content.

Raute-10Gasthof Obermaier

At Gasthof Obermaier, lovers of cozy Bavarian conviviality will find what they're looking for. Both in the restaurant and in the beer garden, the menu clearly indicates gluten-free dishes. As it should be, you can also enjoy a gluten-free beer in Munich Trudering. Our favorite: "Münchner Wurstsalat!"
